SpearPoint Marketing Founder and Owner, Jesse McFarland, began his marketing career in 2008 while earning his MBA. What started as a deep interest in how businesses grow through digital channels quickly turned into a career spanning both agency and in-house leadership roles across multiple industries. Along the way, Jesse saw too many companies investing in marketing that looked good on paper but failed to drive real revenue, which led him to build SpearPoint Marketing with a focus on SEO strategies that produce measurable business growth. Based in Denver, Jesse is big sports fan Broncos and Nuggets, coaches his son's football and basketball teams, and is a competitive DEKA athlete. -

Born and raised (mostly) in Colorado, David started his online marketing journey many moons ago after taking a web design class at Red Rocks Community College. That led to a job doing web design, then internet marketing, for a company that sold coin-operated breath-alcohol testers to entrepreneurs and bars. After that, he landed at a car dealership in Denver, where he became the digital marketing manager and the “everything computer” guy. In mid-2025, he moved on to greener pastures and now works at Spearpoint Marketing, where he enjoys working across a wide range of businesses. Outside of work, he plays hockey, hikes, bikes, and is a raving vegan. He humbly awaits the coming takeover by our AI overlords. And his wife wants a robot. -

My 17+ year marketing career includes a mixture of agency and client side. This allowed me to thrive in a variety of different environments that include Healthcare, Legal, SaaS, Media, Ecommerce, and Start-Up environments. Overtime I created a digital marketing strategy that includes SEO, local search, reputation management and content marketing that will generate a positive ROI in any of these markets.
Further, my agency experience taught me that most customers are frustrated with not understanding the value of what they are paying for and feel stuck in a contract that they cannot break without a penalty.
A digital marketing service should deliver a clear ROI and the results from the service should be 100% transparent. Plus, if the results are not hitting the mark, then the client should have the right to take their business somewhere else.
